no tengo una respuesta a su pregunta, pero como alternativa, ¿trató de la instalación de la fuente, como se detalla here y here?

Además, puede forzar pitón de 32 bits, así por invocando el comando python2.6-32 en el terminal, que puede ser un poco más conveniente para fines de prueba.

trate de hacer esto antes de compilar: ARCHFLAGS exportación = "- i386 arco" continuación, en el setup.py

reemplazar extra_link_args = [] con extra_link_args = ['-L/Desarrollador /SDKs/MacOSX10.6.sdk/usr/lib']

luego simplemente ejecutar: python setup.py instalar

Me encontré con el mismo problema en mi MacBook Pro con OS X 10.7.

que era capaz de compilar usando "sudo python2.5 setup.py install"

no funcionó es como encanto. Espero que esto pueda ayudar a alguien más.
