Eso debería ser bastante simple de arreglar. En mi código, hago 'if (m.getName(). ToLowerCase(). Contains (constraint))', para verificar si el nombre es una coincidencia. Simplemente necesita comprobar si la restricción está vacía, y si es agregar todos los elementos a la lista de arrays de filtro (o eso supongo, no lo he probado). – Alxandr

Escribí esta clase que es básicamente una copia de ArrayAdapter con solo una ligera modificación similar a la solución de Alxandr, pero más elegante.

Todo lo que hice fue extraer la lógica de filtro de la clase anidada ArrayAdapter.ArrayFilter a la clase ArrayAdapter para exponerla (y permitir al usuario anularla).

La ventaja de esta solución es su belleza en la aplicación, simplemente reemplazando el filterObject método que se sacó de la ArrayAdapter.ArrayFilter de clase en el ArrayAdapter:

La mejor manera que encontré para filtrar ArrayAdapter es crear mi propia clase de filtro:

private class MyFilter extends Filter 

entonces en esa función de crear la nueva tabla de objeto a visualizar después de el filtro (se puede encontrar una buena aplicación en el código fuente de class ArrayAdapter)

ahora el truco está en este método

@Override 
protected void publishResults(CharSequence constraint, FilterResults results) 

cuando se utiliza el adaptador de matriz que no puede hacer esto:

myAdapterData = results.values 

desde entonces se desconecta sus datos a partir de los datos de súper, usted debe hacer esto para mantener su referencia a los súper matriz de datos original:

data.clear(); 
data.addAll((List<YourType>) results.values); 

y luego anular

getFilter()

en su adaptador, por ejemplo:

El inconveniente de esta solución simple es que los datos de la lista original se modifican (es decir, 'data.clear(); data.add()'). así que en el constructor del adaptador debería obtener un clon de la lista original (es decir, 'nuevo MangaListAdapter (..., new ArrayList (myMangaData))' – k3b
