Grails Excepción de DataSource

Question

Tengo una aplicación en producción que recientemente tuvo un tiempo de espera de MySQL, así que estoy tratando de agregar parámetros adicionales a la fuente de datos para evitar esto. En el 1.3.7 documentation muestra que puedo agregar un valor de propiedades, así:

Sin embargo, cuando agrego esto a mi fuente de datos de desarrollo me sale el siguiente error:

Estaba probando esto localmente, así que puse las propiedades en mi bloque development. Sin embargo, no agregué pooled = true ya que generalmente no está en esta sección. Esto estaba causando el error. Una vez que agregué la declaración de agrupación, todo funcionó correctamente.
