Tengo un diseño con EditText y TabHost que contiene 2 pestañas. Android 1.6.EditText y TabHost no se gustan

Uso el teclado de hardware en el siguiente caso. Pasos para reproducirse:

  1. Cuando se muestra actividad, EditText gana foco.

  2. Tan pronto como presiono cualquier tecla, EditText pierde el foco y la primera pestaña la gana.

  3. Vuelvo a hacer clic en EditText y empiezo a escribir.

  4. Funciona a menos que presione cualquier botón numérico. La primera pestaña gana el foco nuevamente.

  5. Me desplazo hacia atrás hasta EditText con bola de seguimiento. Puedo escribir cualquier cosa ahora.

Usar la bola de seguimiento hacia la izquierda/derecha en focus EditText en pasos 2,3 también hace que EditText pierda su foco.

Esto es muy raro. ¿Cómo manejar esto?

que realmente no quieren usar TabHost y TabWidget en el archivo del formato XML para configurar sus pestañas.

Lo hice todo a través del código en una clase que amplía TabActivity, y para cada pestaña, solo asocié una Actividad con su propio archivo de diseño XML que se encargó del diseño de la interfaz de usuario para esa pestaña específica.

Aquí está la clase TabActivity, y también un ejemplo del XML background_selectors que se ocupa de la apariencia de la Etiqueta TAB.

No es una respuesta real. Simplemente sugiriendo de otra manera, eso tampoco funcionará. Y el asunto es que si usas TabActivity no puedes mostrar nada fuera de esa actividad. Por ejemplo: en la pregunta, quiere que EditText sea visible sin importar qué pestaña se seleccione. Eso no es posible con TabActivity. –

Después de cavar ampliamente a través de la fuente de Android, he encontrado el error: TabHost registra un OnTouchModeChangeListener en onAttachedToWindow() que roba enfocar al salir de modo táctil (también conocido como cuando alguien presiona una tecla).
