En mi experiencia generalmente no se puede. O dibuja el elemento usted mismo o no. Si intentas componer tus gráficos sobre los dibujados por el control, terminarás con problemas técnicos.
Es un poco molesto porque tiene que manejar rectángulos de enfoque, resaltados de selección y dibujar todos los glifos usted mismo.
