X/Gnome: cómo medir la geometría de una ventana abierta

¿Existe un programa X/Gnome estándar que muestre el ancho X, Y y la profundidad en píxeles de una ventana que selecciono? Algo similar a la forma en que xterm le muestra el ancho y la profundidad de la ventana (en líneas) a medida que lo cambia de tamaño.

Estoy ejecutando en Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.4.

Sí, estás buscando el programa 'xwininfo'. Ejecútelo en otra terminal y luego haga clic en la ventana sobre la que desea información y se la proporcionará.
