Pensé que WINDOW_SERVICE se suponía que era una constante definida en android.content.Context.WINDOW_SERVICE no se puede resolver con una variable

bien impresionante que se deshizo de ese error, pero lo reemplazó con: 'El método getSystemService (String) no está definido para el tipo Preview' que no tiene sentido para mí. –

No es algo que me sirva en mi proyecto actual, pero probé esa línea (literalmente) en una de mis Activties y eclipse la construí sin errores ni advertencias. – Squonk

Bien, lo he reducido al hecho de que lo estoy usando dentro de una clase llamada Vista previa. Actualizaré la publicación para que pueda echar un vistazo a mi código. –
