playframework 2.0 - superó max_user_connections en las evoluciones de la base de datos?

Espero cualquier información sobre cómo puedo configurar mi aplicación play 2.0 para no utilizar tantas conexiones de bases de datos tanto en la evolución de la base de datos como durante el tiempo de ejecución. He pedido esto en el grupo y en el IRC sin suerte.

estoy usando cleardb encender instancia (max_user_connections = 10) con heroku ...

Aquí hay una configuración que solo usa 5 conexiones.

db.default.maxConnectionsPerPartition=5 
db.default.minConnectionsPerPartition=5
